Our team is comprised of ex-military professionals and led by trusted ex-Australian Defence Force (ADF) doctor Dr Thomas Perkins (FRACGP MBBS BEng GAICD MCSE).
Veterans Health Centre was started by Dr Thomas Perkins upon his discharge from the ADF in 2019. Recognising the need for holistic, supportive and compassionate care that went beyond providing healthcare, Veterans Health Centre was born.
Veterans Health Centre exists to guide veterans through the entire process of securing appropriate care for both physical and psychological ailments as well as dealing with the DVA. We understand how overwhelming, confusing and frustrating it can be to deal with the DVA and support our patients to complete, submit and gain approval for their claims.
As all our team are former ADF members, we have a unique understanding and insights regarding the needs of our patients. This enables us to provide genuinely empathetic care and put our patients at ease through a shared, military family background.
